A Deck Box in Your Game Store's or Club's Colors
A game store that has been running weekly events for years. A club that keeps Tuesday nights alive. A local league that crowns a champion every season. They all have an identity, a name, usually a logo. And almost all of them hand out prizes that get opened, tossed or forgotten in a drawer. A deck box in your colors stays on the table for years.
Short answer: a game store or club can get deck boxes made with its logo in the Forge, by uploading its artwork to the side panels or medallions and engraving its name on the lid. The one condition: you need to own the rights to the logo. Game and publisher logos are off limits.
Why a store or club should have its own boxes
A prize that outlasts a booster
A booster pack is opened in thirty seconds. A deck box engraved with the event name and season travels with the winner's deck to every game after that. It is the prize that keeps people talking about your event long after the final round. If your tournament runs under a publisher's official program, just check its prize rules before you announce the reward.
An identity that travels
When a club heads out to a tournament in another city, a set of matching boxes does more for its image than any flyer. People spot the team at the tables, remember the name and come over to ask where they play. For a club looking for new members, that is visibility riding along in every bag.
Uses you might not think of
A logo box for the demo decks you use to teach new players. Another one for loaner decks. A thank-you gift for the volunteers who judge and run check-in all year. Small objects that show the community looks after the people who keep it going.
Your logo: what works and what doesn't
Your identity, and only yours
Your store's logo, your club crest, your league name: all of that belongs to you and can go on a box. If the logo was designed by a member or a freelance designer, make sure the rights cover use on a manufactured product. If you are ordering for an organization you don't run, get its approval first.
Game logos, publisher logos and organized play program logos, on the other hand, are registered trademarks. They don't go on a box, even for an official tournament. Same rule for card art and licensed characters. Our guide to uploading your own artwork covers this point in detail, along with how to prepare the file.
Where the logo goes
In the Forge, artwork uploads onto the side panels, for a bold presence, or onto a medallion, for a tighter emblem. Optional lid engraving adds short text: club name, event title, season. Our article on lid engraving shows what reads well once it is carved in. For anything the configurator doesn't cover, you can always contact us directly.
Which finish suits a logo?
A logo with precise colors and sharp contrast is a natural fit for Ironsmith, our full-color 3D printing, which reproduces artwork that would be impossible to achieve by hand. Inksmith, fully hand-painted with the raised details brought out by drybrushing, gives a vintage, weathered look that works beautifully for a trophy or a crest. Our Inksmith vs Ironsmith comparison will help you decide.
Organizing a series for a club or event
The method is the same as any group order. You build a reference box in the Forge with its live preview, then duplicate the configuration in one click for each copy. To tell podium places apart, play with the eleven box colors, Starlight effects included, or with the engraving. For an Inksmith series, mention in the order comment that the boxes belong together: paint batch matching is available on request. The full process is in our article on group orders.
On timing, allow 5 to 10 business days for production, a few more for the premium finishes, then tracked shipping from France. If the prizes are due on a fixed date, order several weeks ahead. Every piece is photographed before it ships, and if it doesn't match the configurator preview, we repaint or remake it at our cost.
Every box comes with the same fundamentals: up to 125 double-sleeved cards, a snap-fit closure with no magnets, premium PLA and a hand finish in our workshop in France.
